The African Brothers consisted of Lincoln “Sugar” Minott, Winston “Tony Tuff” Morris and Derrick “Bubbles” Howard. They were heavily influenced by groups such as The Abyssinians and The Heptones. They worked with some of the best musicians in Jamaica, such as Carlton & Aston Barret, Soul Syndicate and Sly & Robbie. Hold Tight is a beautiful song from an incredible era of music.
