Certain tracks on the label deservedly get a lot of praise, but with an esoteric entity like Wackies we’re bound to miss some gems. One of these comes from Jezzreel, a vocal duo made up of Clive Davis and Christopher Harvey, former singers with Sugar Minott.
The tune is amazing, and shows Barnes’ respect for the Studio One sound (check the drums!) shine through in this tune, alongside call and response vocals, foundation harmonies, honest lyrics, and mind melting dub (with flute)… Disco mix to make you jump and twist!
