This track was produced by Thievery Corporation and released in 2006 on ‘ESL Records’ as part of their ‘Versions’ album. The style is obviously very different to the sound that we may have become accustomed to expect from ‘Muma Nancy’, however, the song is very refreshing. This track manages to be driven & energetic, as well as spaciously dubby. Overall, it’s a classic ‘Thievery’ production, blessed by the original female Deejay. It’s nice to hear musicians from different walks of life crossing paths. A lot of people who may well have never heard of Sister Nancy will have had her voice brought into their lives because of this collaboration…
