Although Stevie Hyper D did record a fair few songs, the energy and vibes of his vocals live at raves was were it was at. I picked this particular recording because around this time he was at his prime. It also highlights the schooling that ‘Hyper D’ passed on to MC’s like Skibadee and so many others. As a vocalist myself I definitely found ‘Stevie’ a massive inspiration. Big up to all those that know the tape pack vibes and all that were lucky enough to have seen him perform at raves back in the day!
